WHO NEEDS A HEADSHOT?

You do.

Whether you are an author, life coach or interior designer, you need to present your best self on social media and web sites.  There are endless reasons to have a current, strong and professionally produced business portrait. Think of it as a marketing tool, your opportunity for a strong first impression. With the prevalence of web sites,  every entrepreneur and small business has a web presence. Large companies need consistent photos of their principals, executives and staff. Your professional portrait can be used for social media, publicity and promotional uses.

When you want to be seen as a professional you need a photo taken by a professional photographer. That vacation snapshot might be your favorite photo, but is it presenting your best professional self?

Choosing a Location

Depending on the type of style that works best for your profession sessions can take place in the studio or at a Bay Area location.   Images produced in the studio tend to be formal, whereas images shot on location tend feel more casual and approachable.

I am a portrait photographer located in Oakland. Whether I'm shooting in a studio or on location, I like to keep my portrait photography style relaxed and comfortable because what I want is images that feel connected and natural. While I do pose subjects in scenic settings (or the studio), I gravitate towards the moments in between poses. I want my subjects to forget about the camera.
